IF combined its subsidiaries operating in the Baltic countries under one company

If P&C Insurance Holding Ltd, a subsidiary of Sampo plc, has finalised the project to combine its subsidiaries operating in the Baltic countries under one company on 1 July 2009.

The new company, If P&C Insurance AS, will operate in all the Baltic countries having its domicile in Estonia and branches in Latvia and Lithuania.

The legal rearrangement will have no effect on valid insurance contracts and will require no action by customers.
