Sampo Group's ownership in Topdanmark A/S has exceeded 20 per cent

Sampo Group's ownership in Topdanmark A/S has today exceeded 20 per cent of the total shares and voting rights of the company. Total number of Topdanmark shares owned by Sampo Group is 3,147,692 and the average acquisition price is DKK 735.

Subject to relevant approvals, Sampo intends to report Topdanmark as an associate company. Details on accounting treatment will be announced once these approvals have been received.
