In 2021, Sampo plc received a rating of AA in the MSCI ESG Ratings assessment. The scale is from from AAA (leader) to CCC (laggard).
Sampo plc received an ESG Risk Rating of 13.8 (as of 17 February 2022) and was assessed to be at low risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors. The scale is from 0 to 100, zero meaning the lowest level of ESG risk.
Sampo plc has received Prime status from ISS ESG’s ratings in 2021, which ranks the company among the best in its industry.
In 2021, Sampo plc’s S&P Global ESG score was 59 out of 100 points, which is well above the average score of 40. The score is based on results announced on 26 November 2021.
V.E ranked Sampo plc 16th in the insurance sector in 2021 with the overall ESG performance rated robust and score being 51 out of 100 points.
