The last banking day of the year is 28 December 2001

Although the branch offices are closed, the currency service points at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and Helsinki Länsiterminaali (western terminal) are open also at the turn of the year. The service point at the airport is open daily from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. The service point at Länsiterminaali is open from Saturday 29 December 2001 through Monday 31 December 2001 at 6.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, 1 January 2002, from 6.30 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. as well as from 3.45 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The exceptional arrangements are a result of a decision made by the European Central Bank and the Bank of Finland, according to which there will be no money traffic between the two banks on 31 December 2001. In addition to the Sampo Bank offices, the branches offering Sampo Insurance services are closed on 31 December 2001.
