Group Structure

Sampo Group is made up of the parent company Sampo plc and If P&C Insurance Holding Ltd and Mandatum Life Insurance Company, its fully owned subsidiaries.  

The parent company administers the subsidiaries. Sampo plc is a major shareholder in Nordea, the Nordic banking group. Nordea is Sampo's associated company.

Mandatum Life Insurance Company operates in Finland under the brand name Mandatum Life. Mandatum Life owns a Baltic subsidiary Mandatum Life Insurance Baltic SE.

The P&C Insurance Group's parent company If P&C Insurance Holding Ltd owns subsidiaries in both Sweden and in Finland. The operations in the Baltic countries are run by a Baltic subsidiary named If P&C Insurance AS. Danish insurance company Topdanmark is If's associated company.
