The acquisition of Tryg's Finnish portfolio completed and cooperation procedure to begin

If P&C Insurance Company Ltd (Finland), a company belonging to Sampo Group, and Tryg Forsikring A/S have closed the acquisition of the insurance business of the Finnish branch of Tryg Forsikring A/S. All necessary approvals for the acquisition have been obtained.

If P&C will begin cooperation procedure on 8 May 2013 in order to coordinate the activities. The procedure involves 60 employees. Preliminary estimate for the staff decrease is a maximum of 34 people. The process aims to avoid dismissals. 

Sampo plc disclosed the agreement between If P&C Insurance Company Ltd and Tryg Forsikring A/S on 6 November 2012.
